The Band
Fat Kid Big Band is the hot, fresh, exciting new group from Montréal, Canada.
From its beginnings as a trio and quartet playing in and around Montréal, Fat Kid has maintained the vision of playing authentic jazz music the way it was intended to be, With infectious rhythm and dedication to musicianship. Plain and simple.
Now we are a 19-piece ensemble featuring some of the best established artists and promising new talents. All from Montréal where the grooviest musicians are cultivated.
In the summer of 2016, we had recorded our debut album at les Studios Piccolo, and in early 2018 our debut album 'New Beginnings' was released under The Spectra Music Group label.

Hi, I'm Luke.
Originally from Vancouver, Canada. After spending 7 years in Montréal I find myself currently based in the Middle East.
When not traveling or trying to get some rest, I spend my time writing music for my 19-member jazz ensemble: Fat Kid Big Band.
in my free time, I try to exercise, cook, learn about other cultures and attempt to make sense out of the world that we inhabit.
